I was late out the door to head downtown, so I didn't stop to put air in my tires, which were a bit on the flat side.
I road downtown, then to a coffee shop, and then was heading to meet my one friend with the cat to watch "Sister Wives" and was like 2 blocks from her house, when I rode off the edge of the pavement in an alley where it was crumbling, and automatically I heard a hissing sound. Both my tires were flat.
The people at the bikeshop said because my tires were a bit load, the outer tire must have slid and pinched the tubes. They said to always keep them inflated. That was a $30 lesson (for labor and replacement of both tubes). Erp.
