A Coffee Can for You (44 of 63): Lavazza Cafe.

This can is a classic, though more because of brand than of design:

What more can I say?

A Coffee Can for You (43 of 63): Pilon Cafe.

This can is solid but nothing special despite its mid-stripe:

Again, Latino colors.

A Coffee Can for You (42 of 63): Supreme by Bustelo.

This is another one of my handful of repeat coffee cans, though if I remember correctly I bought this after I had already made the decision not to include repeat cans in my collection:

The design is so different from the regular Cafe Bustelo can that at the end of the day I don't mind it so much.

Plus, "Supreme by Bustelo" has kind of a trashy sauciness about it that I like.

A Coffee Can for You (41 of 63): Miscela d'Oro.

I find this coffee can non-plussing:

I don't know what "Miscela" means in Italian, but it reminds me of 'miscellaneous', and the label is kind of understated, which makes me suspect I'm missing something. It's all very mysterious.

The coffee, in any case, was non-descript, despite the fact that it's the only new brand of coffee I found at the new upper-end supermarket that opened up near me this past year after the old co-op supermarket closed down.

A Coffee Can for You (40 of 63): Minas.

I have a very special place in my heart for this coffee can:

It's not so much that the can is Croatian and the woman on it looks like my landlady, but rather that her hair gleams in the sun and is kind of golden and looks wonderful when my dining room gets early morning sun on the eastern exposure, though you can't see it from the picture, and plus the can is a nice upright shape that makes it stand out.

Plus, "Minas" is kind of a cool name.

I showed this can to my landlady once when her and her husband were over to repair the sink and she was like, "Yes, that is a Croatian can." She's kind of matter-of-fact, but I think she appreciated that I took the time to show something Croatian to her.

A Coffee Can for You (39 of 63): Meijer Organics French-Euro Blend.

I got this can last summer when I went to the store with my one friend who lives in Michigan, the same one who when I was home a few weeks ago I got to throw up a few times by drinking too many gin and tonics with her (though I took my liquor a bit better than her):

I find the whole "French-Euro Blend" name annoying. It's like the store decided to slap the word "Euro" on the label since they know people who buy organics will eat that shit up.

A Coffee Can for You (38 of 63): Alessi Cafe Espresso.

I got this can on that same shopping trip to the store with my grandfather a few years ago:

Though I've never seen Sultan Coffee again, this very year when the local co-op supermarket closed down and an upscale chain opened in its place, I ran into this brand again.

I find the brown color of this can kind of wholesome and dependable, though its exact color doesn't quite come through in the picture, much like the picture of Cafe La Llave (Cafe la Llave?).
