One of my (Ghanaian) resthome coworkers is short and kind of stoutly built and bearded, and the other day he was wearing a Santa pin.
I asked him about that, and he said it was because people were joking that he looks like Santa.
The next time I saw him after that, I asked him if people had given the pin to him, or what.
He said he had bought it for himself this past Christmas, and decided to pull it out and start wearing it now.
