2 dreams / Cuticles / An e-mail.

Yesterday I forgot to post my one dream from two nights ago, and then I had another one tonight --

1) Like two nights ago I dreamed I was talking with people and said something very funny, but I can't remember what it was, or even the situation or the topic about which I said it.

2) Last night I dreamed I was in this go-kart/dirt-buggy thing with my brother as driver and a friend from high school who it turns out will be visiting me at the end of April in the backseat (I got an e-mail yesterday that her place to stay in the city fell through, so she's leaning on me), and that we were in this large courtyard with a three-story ceiling, and there was this big staircase going up one wall, turning at a landing, and then continuing to a door on the third story, and my brother insisted on driving up the stairs fast, and when I complained, he decided to pop a wheelie just to piss me off, and when we went high in the air, he missed landing on the staircase and the car fell down a couple stories to the floor and rolled, and all I remember is getting up and being fine but the one girl I know from high school was in her seat and paralyzed from the neck down, and crying, and I was worried about her swallowing her tongue for some reason, as if she was totally paralyzed.

This morning I was pushing back my cuticles and cutting my nails, and I also cut away some old cuticles onto the kitchen table and then swept them into my hand and ate them (they're a little tough, like beef jerky, but don't taste like much), and then like ten minutes later I saw one left over, and I swept it into my hand and ate it, but it turned out to be a sliver of soap, and no matter how much water or coffee I drank, I couldn't wash the soap taste away, until I brushed my teeth.

On another note, this Sunday me and another (white) grad student are going to church to see my one (black) friend who works the library desk on Sunday nights solo, who is also friend with the other (white) grad student, and our friend confirmed the place/time by e-mail under the subject line "church service":

Hey [my name], church service starts at 3:00, March 8th ([address])

I'm looking forward to seeing you and [the other (white) graduate student]. Bring your shouting shoes. LOL

All those people who wanted you to wash your mouth out with soap should be satisfied now.
