While the owners were on vacation this summer, I started bringing in some word etc. puzzles to do if it was slow, after they had nixed them earlier this year.
And, several of my (Thai) coworkers pointed to the security camera and said to be careful, because the owners could be watching.
“Would he really do that?”, my one (college-aged) (Chinese-American) coworker was like, looking up from the puzzles, and mumbling something about how the (male) (Thai) restaurant owner was on vacation and should have something better to do.
“Maybe he’s trying to catch you because he hates Asians,” I was like.
