Family debate - healthcare.

My one uncle (my mom's brother) visits my great-uncle a lot since his wife died like last year or the year before last. He says the visits have been getting kind of bad because my great uncle always likes to tell it how it is, but he's been ranting about the socialism of health care, and, like my uncle says, "But his bills are paid by Medicare."

My mom agreed, and said that if he felt that strongly, he should refuse on principle those checks, as well as Social Security.

She also added that she says that a lot when she's around old people who bitch about government spending like that.
