You know what would make a great movie?

Some indie (Chinese) director should whip up a satire lampooning boorish, nouveau riche international students from (China).

Like, if someone (China)-external did that, it would probably come off as xenphobic.

But, if someone culture-internal did it, you'd avoid that whole mess, and plus the references and humor would probably be deeper and better and much much more delicious.

That whole scene really is ripe for a send-up.

It's "a thing."
