Since the eldest daughter of the (Thai) owners of the one (Thai) restaurant where I work now began attending university in town here this year, I was saying to my one (older) (Thai) coworker who's a whiz at the phones, that she should have made a reservation at the restaurant during that university's annual celebration of moms, and taken her family out to eat there.
(We get a lot of families with moms through the restaurant, that weekend.)
And, my coworker told me that she didn't think that she would do that, but when it was her dad's birthday this year, she ran home and picked up the dog and brought it in for when they brought out the cake to their dad in his office at the restaurant, so that the entire family could be there for that, dog included.
